Less than a month to go! Here’s what you need to know

There is less than a month until the Mycobacterial Diseases Joint Panel Meeting 2024 in Okinawa, Japan. The following is essential information.

• Access to the University of the Ryukyus:

  The access can be found here (for Japanese; go to this link). Recommended route: a monorail until the terminal station, Tedako-Uranishi, and then taking a taxi.

  Please allow extra time for travel, as traffic congestion in Okinawa can be severe in the mornings and evenings.

• At the campus, head for the 50th Anniversary Memorial Hall:

  See the map at the bottom of the page, together with a floor plan.

• Important: Dietary Restrictions for lunch

  We will provide a lunch box for each day. However, if you have dietary restrictions, please manage them yourselves, due to the lack of capable suppliers in the vicinity of the university to cater for them. We apologize for any inconvenience that may cause.

• Important: Confidentiality Agreement

  All participants are requested to sign the confidentiality agreement. You can bring the signed agreement with you, or you can also respond to it at the registration.

• Don't miss the bus for the Welcome Party!

  Welcome party venue is not in an walking distance, and we’ll arrange a bus ride to the hotel from the University building. The bus will leave at 18:00, so please do not miss the bus if you join the party.
